What is RSS?
RSS provides a convenient way for content
publishers to make news, blogs and other content available to
subscribers. You
can add your favorite “RSS Feeds as subscriptions in Microsoft
Office Outlook 2007, Windows Internet Explorer, Firefox and most
Web Browsers. Instructions are included below for
Outlook, Explorer and Firefox.
Add the feed once and it will pop up
automatically every day. No email required, no safe senders, no
missed emails, etc.
RSS Feed through the E-Mail
/Microsoft Office Outlook 2007
1.
On
the tools menu, click Account Settings
2.
On the RSS Feeds tab, click
New
3.
In the New RSS Feed dialog
box type:
http://www.otchoice.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default
4.
Click Add
5.
Click OK
Windows
Internet Explorer 7 & 8
1.
Click to open Internet Explorer.
2.
Go to
the website that has the feed you want to subscribe to:
http://www.otchoice.blogspot.com
enter the above address
into the URL: address line to visit the web-site
You will see the orange feed icon indicating Feed available for
subscription.
3.
Click
the Feeds button
to
open feeds on the webpage.
4.
Click
Subscribe to this feed.
5.
Click
on the Star icon
on the left hand side of the Web page.
How
do I add a feed to the Internet Explorer 8 Favorites bar?
To add a feed to the Favorites bar, subscribe to the feed, and
then select the Add to Favorites Bar
check box in the Subscribe to this Feed
dialog box. If you've already subscribed to the feed, you can
click the Add to Favorites Bar button
to
add the feed to the Favorites bar. To learn more about the

How
do I add a feed to Firefox??
Go to
the website that has the feed you want to subscribe to:
http://www.otchoice.blogspot.com
enter the above
address into the URL: address line to visit the web-site
Firefox: If
an RSS feed is available, the RSS icon
will appear in the address bar of the Safari browser as below.

Click
on the RSS icon. Either a box will pop up with the option to
subscribe to a feed, or your browser will open a page with the
information the publisher has aggregated.
To subscribe, look for the
"subscribe" link at the top of the page.
To read your feeds, click on Firefox's Bookmarks in the Top Line
Menu. Click on "Bookmarks Toolbar to see feeds.
To see Feeds all the time on the Bookmarks toolbar, click on
"View" on the Top Line Menu, then click on Toolbars and then
check off Bookmarks Toolbar. Your feeds will then be visible at
all times.
