OTCC members pay an annual membership fee (starting at only $25 per year) and can then take advantage of significant discounts on services and fuel purchases.

Members create an account and provide information on their fuel usage and needs, such as the type of fuel used and estimates of how many gallons will be needed.

Our Town Energy Alliance (our fuel and energy division) gathers this information from all of our members and uses that volume buying power to secure discounted fuel rates from leading area fuel providers including Irving Oil, Eastern Oil and Propane, as well as other fuel providers.

Once the fuel prices are secured, we notify members of the prices. They can take advantage of purchasing their fuel at the discount rate directly from the fuel provider. But they are not obligated to accept the bid price. See Terms & Conditions for more details. We make the dealers buy the fuel at the time of the bid in order to lock in the price.

The discounted rate is locked in for the entire year and can not be increased, so members enjoy the security of being able to accurately anticipate fuel costs.
